Danielle Cesario

B Corp and True Zero Waste Certification Specialist

With nearly 10 years of experience in the hospitality and wine industry developing beverage programs and running operations, Danielle Cesario has sharpened her career towards a focus on wine sustainability. She holds a Masters of Science in Wine and Spirits Management from Kedge University in Bordeaux; her thesis explored the value of the B Corp Certification for wineries in California and Oregon. Danielle also completing her first harvest in Sonoma in 2020, producing cool climate Sonoma Coast Pinot Noirs and Chardonnay.

Today, Danielle specializes in B Corp Certification, and her own company, Beyond Benefit LLC, partners with Reyes Wine Group to consult with firms in the wine industry on the pursuit of B Corp certification while helping develop viable sustainability practices within their organization. She believes that environmental and economic sustainability are key to more than just “the right thing to do”; they are essential for the overall success of a business and the long-term well-being of the entire wine industry. Danielle will receive her WSET Level 3 award in 2021. Her research on B Corp certification in the wine industry continues, as she hopes to bring the B Corp tools to more California wineries.
